.that's where you'll find me.

So I love rainbows.  I always have.  It's another one of those things in life that I am completely in awe of.

(excuse the use of a preposition at the end of that sentence. thanks.)

I mean don't you ever see a rainbow and become entirely distracted by it's mysteriousness?  Doesn't it bring all sorts of questions to your mind?  Like:

"Where's the pot of gold, people?"

"Are leprechauns actually real?"

"Why do all leprechauns have red hair, and long beards, and why are they always irish?  How did the irish get that lucky?"

.Lightbulb.

"Ohhhhh lucky leprechauns. I get it."

Oh dear.  You just read some of my random thoughts didn't you?

...That's embarrassing.

Back to the rainbows then.  They are beautiful, colorful, captivating, and they are a promise.  A covenant.

"And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.”

I love this song, and I have a confession to make.  I'm jealous of the blue birds.
