They played some of their own songs first.
They were completely hilarious...as usual.
And then we had a time of total worship.
S&S had the lights turned off so the spotlight wasn't on them.
A few songs in they started playing {our God} by Chris Tomlin.
I cannot tell you how much I love this song.
I heard it for the first time this summer in {texas}
Could hardly keep from bursting into tears.
Don't worry. I didn't.
I was in the car with my host parents and didn't want to freak them out.
Back to Sunday night.
This song gets me PUMPED UP.
I felt like laughing, crying, and jumping up and down all at once.
In my moments of doubt, I remember this song.
When I don't have a clue what is going on.
Or where my life is going.
What my purpose is.
I am reminded my Father has {everything. i mean EVERYTHING} under control.
I don't need to know what the future holds.
All I need to know is that He will be there with me.
Every step of the way.
More and more I am learning to trust Him.
It is such a freeing experience.
Completely relying on the Lord.
My God is greater.
My God is stronger.
He is higher than any other.
He is healer.
Awesome in power.
My God.
If He is for me, who could ever stop me?
If my God is with me, what could stand against?
Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
So I will go forth and shine for Him.
Wherever my path may lead.
