weekend update. | THE KLACKNERS

weekend update.

|| follow me on instagram for more snapshots! ||

-- we had some crazy storms here in the south last week. i spent a couple of nights hiding in the basement and listening to the weather waiting for the all-clear from tornadoes.

-- core group this week was spent staining and painting signs for abbey's wedding. i love that we get to do these projects together as a group in preparation for her big day! 6 days to go!!

-- i got to spend the weekend in knoxville with my college bestie. we stayed up late, talked about our lives, visited the farmer's market, went hiking, hit up starbucks for happy hour, and hung out with friends. it was just what i needed.

-- i am loving these longer days we are having, and that i actually get to watch the sunsets again. winter times make me sad because the sun sets while i'm still at work! so, yay summer!

don't forget your mama

-- 3 things to know about finding your calling
-- hidden disney secrets!
-- LOVE this office tour. disney for her, ironman for him. it's a nerdy match made in heaven.
-- samantha of elah tree and i had a virtual coffee date last week!

-- rivers and roads | my favorite things
-- oak + oats | crush of the month

-- i have weird thumbs. they are short and stubby and sort of look like they belong on a gecko.
-- i cry when i'm excited about things. if i'm not between a 3 and 7 on the emotional scale, i'm crying. okay, okay. so it's not quite on the level of kristen bell, but it's the same concept. i get more teary-eyed rather than full on crying. for instance, one time i got so excited/overwhelmed talking to someone about narnia and how reepicheep is one of my favorite characters because of how much he loves aslan, that i had to wipe away tears. this is my life.
-- i can memorize songs and movie scripts like nobody's business. if only memorizing scripture came to me so easily...

i am now offering in-post banner adsyour ad will be placed at the bottom of every post, you get to be a part of the monthly My Favorite Things Giveaways, and will also be included in the group feature post each month. this a GREAT way to gain exposure and direct new readers to your blog and/or shop! use code MAYFLOWER for 25% off all advertising options.

I always cry during running races and during the Olympics ... I just can't stop the darn tears. My family looked over at me during the winter Olympics and there I was bawling my eyeballs out. =)
