SPONSORS' SUMMER PLAYLIST.

I absolutely love highlighting my sponsors each month, and this time is no exception. As y'all know, I love me some good music, so I asked my sweet friends what they have had on their playlists this summer! Check out some of their favorite tunes!

Amy | Taking Steps Home
I've been in a folksy kind of mood lately, reflective, deep...haunting even (weird for summer right?) and these songs ("you never need nobody" by The Lone Bellow, "morning stars" by Farewell Milwaukee, and "cherry wine" by Hozier) just hit that bright spot in me. They are full of some raw passion that is contagious.

Rachel | Oh Simple Thoughts
Hurricane by Mindy Smith I just love the sound of it and how relaxing the melody is. When I need to focus and get to work fast paced music doesn't cut it, I need mellow, easy going music to get into my work flow. :)
Christina | Sweet Lavender Bake Shoppe
Eeeeeeep I just had to listen to these again (you know, just to make sure they really were my favorites right now, hehe)! Each of these songs really feels like "summer" to me, for some strange reason and make me so summery happy right now! Each one has such a nice uppity beat and immediately gets me in the mood to smile and sing along! Bastille, "Weight of Living, Pt.1", All Sons and Daughters, "Oh, How I Need You", and Vampire Weekend, "Hannah Hunt".

Allison | Allison Ramsing
Difference Maker - NEEDTOBREATHE. I was introduced to NEEDTOBREATHE by my twin in Alpha Omicron Pi (my sorority) while I was visiting her in Texas in 2010.  After she introduced me to them I listened to The Outsider album constantly. NEEDTOBREATHE released a new album this year and it is just as good.  I can't get enough of the song Difference Maker.  This song continuously reminds me that we can make a difference and are called to make a difference. We can make a difference in our household, our work, our blogs, our community, and so much more, for God's kingdom.  How are you going to make a difference today?

Samantha | Elah Tree
"Fix My Eyes" For King and Country.
This song fills me with joy and inspires me to have affinity for life and people. It makes me want to get up and dance!

Haley | The Blue Dishes
"Classic" by MKTO is one of my favorite summer songs - it's the perfect for hot days with the windows rolled down. I also love that they throw a tribute to some of the most classic women from the decades - not many pop songs mention Audrey Hepburn & Beyonce side by side!

Laura | All The Best, Laura Jean
Stolen Dance by Milky Chance-How can you not find this song oh so catchy? It makes me want to put on some dancing shoes and enjoy life.

What a fun idea!!! :)

My summer has been all about the "old" rap that I used to listen to...Cross Movement and Flame's first few cds and just old projects that I had completely forgotten about. It's been GOOD!

Love how this turned out! In case anyone is curious, the name of my "roll-the-windows-down" song is "Classic" - MKTO. You probably all know it ;)
