RECAPS
1 | Family time. My brother and sister-in-law were in town for a visit, and it was so good to see them! We went bowling, visited with my grandparents, spent a day kayaking, played lots of games, and ate so much ice cream. I'd call it a win.
2 | Bedroom makeover. I decided to do a little bedroom makeover, and last week consisted of picking out a paint color, a new comforter, some cute pillows, etc. Slowly but surely the room will come together! I'm going to need to consult pinterest for some styling ideas! I'm going for a "less is more" look and doing a lot of purging along the way.
3 | Leaf crunching walks. I've started checking things off my autumn bucket list, and crunching leaves was the first to go. There is a beautiful park approximately two minutes from where I work, so I go over there on pretty days and take walks on my lunch break.
4 | Cooler days. The temperatures dropped a lot over the weekend, and it was so fun to break out the flannel and my brand new boots! The cool air seems to always put a skip in my step and a smile on my face. It is the best.

Leaf crunching!
It is the best!
The cooler weather this last weekend was so nice! I also took the boots out of my closet and put on a scarf! I love fall!
LOVEEE your new boots! But they don't come in my size...wahhhh.
Glad you had a gun weekend with your fam! I'm so jealous of the beautiful weather you had!
I love seeing your room come together! Ahhhh! So glad the visit with your brother was good too! :)
i'm jealous of you wearing flannel and boots - it wasn't chilly enough for that here yet!
and yay for family time, kayaking, bowling, ice cream, painting, AND LEAF CRUNCHING! :)
Sounds like a lovely weekend! :)
Yay for some good family time!
And that gray paint color! I am getting excited to see what you come up with for a makeover! :)
The cooler days do feel nice! A leaf-crunching walk sounds delightful. It sounds like you had a great time with your brother and sister-in-law in town!
hi megan.
SOOOO excited to see your new room. I love a good room makeover and anything that includes grey walls has got to be good. I can't wait to see it (hopefully!!). :)
And I'm also super jealous of your cooler weather and crunchy leaf walks! I've been dying to go on one of those but we've had crazy 80 degree weather lately. Definitely NOT boots weather.
And how did I not know about this Disney Pixar movie? They come up with the best storylines, ideas, and graphics. Thanks for introducing it to me! :)
Awww you got the boots! So fun!
I did! And I've worn them the past 3 days!!
Yesssss. Oh, there will be a room tour once I get everything set back up! :)
Oh man, that is a little warm! We are going to be back in the low 80s for a couple of days this week, but overall I think it's cooling down!
BAH. I know! Pixar is the best.
hi beth. my name is meg, and i like warm hugs.
I am getting in as much leaf crunching as I possibly can! :)
Ahhh. I love the way the paint color looks in the room. Can't wait to share pictures!
I have my boots on again today. Gotta break them in! :)
Eeeeps. I love getting your opinion on all of my room decisions! Hahah!
SAAAAAD. Check some other websites (or the Clarks website itself.) I was just able to get them on Amazon for less because they had them on sale a couple of weeks ago!
Yay!!! I'm wearing my boots as much as possible!
