GREAT CHRISTMAS EXCHANGE | THE REVEAL

A few months ago, I signed up for Samantha's and Beth's annual Great Christmas Exchange. I participated in their first exchange in 2013 and had so much fun I knew I had to join in on the festivities again! Gift exchanges are so fun because not only do you get cute gifts, you also have the opportunity to meet new people in this community and outside of it. Yay! So let's take a look at what was given and received!

I was assigned Sandy in the exchange and had fun stalking her wish list and putting together a box of goodies I thought she might enjoy! These swaps are sometimes nerve wracking when you are trying to put together gifts for someone you've never met based on a list of their likes. But that's also what makes it a fun challenge. I picked up a set of cute dipping bowls from West Elm, a stack of cute stationary from Anchored Heart Company, a vanilla sugar scrub I made, and a jar full of candy. In my humble opinion, you can't go wrong with a jar of candy. ;)

My gifts came from Kristine. I am in love with the Oh Sweet Joy mug from Target. I actually picked one up a few months ago as a Christmas gift for a friend and had been wanting one myself! It's so cute and tall...perfect for that extra serving of hot chocolate. And who doesn't love a bag of colorful macaroons? The cherry on top was the copy of Happy Handmade Home from A Beautiful Mess!! AH! I've had this book on my Amazon wishlist since it was available for pre-order, but I hadn't been able to order myself a copy. Such a sweet addition to this Christmas package. Thank you so much, Kristine! I can't wait to look through and try out some of ABM's genius ideas! :)
