WEEKEND UPDATE

RECAPS
1 | It's kind of fun to receive congratulatory snail mail right before you move across the country. :)

2 | I told my sweet core group girls and dear friends goodbye on Thursday, but we secretly hoped Alex would go into labor before I headed out of town. It just so happens she did go into labor Saturday morning, but sweet Madilynn wasn't born before I had to leave. We will just have to meet via skype until I can snuggle her at Christmas. :)

3 | We had such a fun road trip over the weekend and made great time on the road! Pretty weather and almost zero traffic make for good car times. Also, I love taking pictures of bridges.

4 | So I live in Colorado now. We arrived on Sunday night and I've been getting settled in ever since. There are so many things to take care of when you move across the country! Slowly but surely I'm checking items off my list.

FAVORITE FINDS
-- Puppy hiccups.
-- TOMS bag giveaway.
-- I love magic hour.
-- Possibly the cutest engagement shoot I've ever seen.

Congrats on making your move! Such an exciting time once you can see past the stress and dealing with unpacking.

I'm so glad you're in Colorado safely! Praying for your transition and can't wait to hear all about it when you finally have time. :)

I somehow missed that you're in Colorado now? I've been a lurker (this might be my first comment?) but I'm in CO too! I moved here last summer. Welcome! :)

Oh thanks for saying hi! A "lurker" HAHA. That made me laugh out loud. Where in Colorado do you live?

It has been busy busy busy and we have had the craziest weather! So much rain...which isn't typical for Colorado!

Thanks Allison!

:) Thank you!

I've been here for two weeks and still have some organizing to do. I keep telling myself it takes time to settle in. :)

I'm in Longmont for about two more weeks and then I'm moving to Boulder, which is where I work! I'll be happy to be closer to work and to the mountains :)

Oh fun! Yes, that's one thing I love about Colorado Springs...being so close to the mountains!
