Happy June, friends! I can't believe it, but I've been in Colorado for a month already. As the best friend says, "time flies when you're stressed and overwhelmed." Ha! It's true. There is a lot going on these days, so I'm keeping my monthly goals very practical. Let's take a quick look at last month!
MAY REVIEW
2 | Meet people - I have spent lots and lots of time with people. Granted, a lot of that time has been with my best friends, but they continue to introduce me to new friends, and slowly but surely, community will grow.
JUNE GOALS
2 | Be intentional - I think it's so important after moving away from home to be intentional with your time and with your friends. This means putting time into my friendships here and those that are long distance. Making time for the new friendships while never forgetting the importance of cultivating the ones that came first.
WHAT ARE YOUR GOALS THIS MONTH?
I'm always intimidated by the goal setting process, what if I fail, what if I forget... But I recently decided to get out my comfort zone and set up my goals for this Summer :)
Great goals girl and it sounds like your first month was productive in cultivating community!
Would love to hear how the rei photography class goes! I think about going each month when I get my local stores calendar, I just can't pull the trigger for some reason!
I want to hear about the REI classes too! I should hit up our local REI for classes! Man! I have one goal for June, haha!
Get it, girl. You just have to go for it! One thing about goals is you can always to move them to the next month or the next. :) I just love putting them on paper so it challenges me to complete something!
Thanks Rachel!
Girl! They are free...you should go!! :)
Yesssss. Do it! Beth and I are also going to a class on how to hike a 14er later in July!
That nature photography class sounds like a perfect excuse to encourage you to keep getting out and exploring! Sometimes simple goals are the best goals. :) My goals are to pack (and get rid of the things we haven't used while living in Tennessee), invest in our local friends, and stay on top of client work. :)
I DIDN'T KNOW that REI offers classes! HUSH that is awesome - doing that junk!
and intentional - so much yes there friend.
also, i think it is super wise for you to take the whole summer to visit, pray, and see where the Lord leads.
Yes! Good luck with your move and saying "see you later" to friends!
Yeah! You should check some of them out!
