You ever have those days where you just feel like getting in the car and driving?
That day was today for me. Plus it had been a while since I'd used my camera, and I was feeling a little camera happy. I didn't really care if I got any good pictures, I just wanted to snap some shots. I love looking at the world through a camera lens. I see it in a whole new way.
So I jumped in the car, ran by the post office, made a quick stop at Sonic for happy hour, as you do, and hit the road.

I love driving out in the country. Wide open spaces, good music, big sunglasses, and sunshine. It was perfect.

This is my favorite time of day. Late afternoon when the sun has started it's journey to the horizon. I love all the contrast and shadows the light creates.
My favorite part is that warm golden glow that casts itself across the ground.
It makes my heart happy.

Megan, I love the updates you've done so far, they're super cute! Also LOVE the pictures from your drive. No wonder we're sisters, we like all the same things! :) The clouds were gorgeous.
