the art of tangled.

when i found out that disney "art of" books existed, i immediately went and added them all to my amazon wishlist. i knew i wanted to get the one for Tangled first. why? well because it's only my favorite disney movie of all time! i don't even think i can explain how much i love this movie. y'all know how much i love Frozen. so take that and multiply by a million. that's how much i love Tangled.

also, if i were to be a disney princess (in an alternate universe, obvi) i would totally be rapunzel. you can ask my friends. they'll back me up. ;)

this book is so cool, guys. i love animated movies, and i love the animation process. it's so fun to read through this and see how characters were created and molded into the final product we see on screen. i'm slowly making my way through page by page...i don't want to miss anything! here's a tiny glimpse for you...careful...you might catch the disney bug.

eeeeeep! isn't it so great? and pretty? i think i might just leave it open to the floating lantern scene so i can look at it every day. ;) so maybe Tangled isn't your thing (i'm slightly offended, but we can still be friends)...you can also get the book for Frozen, Brave, Monster's Inc., and many many more!

WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE DISNEY MOVIE?

So cool! I need to get the Brave one... our kid calls it "Brev" because that's how Merida says it with her accent! Why Rapunzel?

So fun! My husband collects these too! So far he has (from what I can see in his bookshelf) Ratatouille and Cars.

That book looks beautiful! When I was younger, my parents would buy me 'art of' books for Disney when we'd go visit Disney World. Gosh, this brought back great memories!

Oh my goodness. When your blog loaded and I saw this, my heart melted. I'm also a Disney movie lover! My car's name is actually Elsa because I think that frozen is so great. Tangled is probably like my third fave, the Little Mermaid being my second.
I'm definitely looking into these books! Thanks for the share!

Oh my gosh! I totally didn't know they made these! Tangled is definitely one of my favorites, but Brave is my MOST favorite!! I was thinking through the whole post if they had one of these for Brave and then I saw your last comment and literally gasped! Adding these to my wish-list now! So excited! And these would make great gifts for Disney lovers -- which should be everyone!

i love her because she's adventurous like me but cautious to begin with..like me. she's a little sassy like. she likes to craft. we both sing all the time ;) haha the list goes on and on. i've just had a lot of people tell me that we are alike (at least, as much alike as you can be to an animated character ;) )

Haha, I totally see why you and Beth are best friends! :) I quite enjoyed Tangled myself, but I think with the stage that I'm at right now, I can totally relate more to Frozen. :)
