-- after discovering that you can draw in google hangouts, the besties and i played disney/harry potter pictionary last week. it was entertaining to say the least. i was SO (not) good at it.
-- my north face rain jacket of 8 years died this week, so after a day of mourning, i started my research for a new jacket that will last me a long lonnnnnng time. with research in hand, my dad and i headed to our local outdoor store. my dad immediately found a sales rep and asked questions like "could you explain the breakdown of the membrane and its waterproofness?" and "tell me about the breath-ability of this jacket." and "what is the warranty on this one?" i told him it was a good thing he was there because the only questions i would have asked were "how many pockets does it have and does the hood fit my head?" dads are great.
-- i spent the greatest weekend in colorado with my favorites! lots more to come about that, BUT i just had to tell you that beth, bruce (her husband) and i were all asked to be in our friends' wedding in february!! obviously, we all said yes and are so so SO excited!
-- gamenights with good friends are the best. i haven't laughed that hard in a while.
-- we took a boat load of pictures while i was in colorado. sometimes i feel awkward about pulling my camera out everywhere i go so that i can snap some pictures...because i feel like everyone ends up staring, but according to the best friend's hubs, "don't feel awkward. you'll have pictures later and those other people won't." haha! anyway, lots of colorado pictures are in this blog's future. :)

Ha! Your dad sounds like my hubs. I don't even know where he comes up with the questions he knows to ask about purchases! And cars?? OH man... we have tons of people ask him to go with him to purchase cars he's so thorough. I'm like you, I just want a pretty color.

hahaha. i just want a pretty color. but for real! the guy brought me one color and i tried it on and liked it, but i was like "do you have other colors i could see?" it's important. ;)
I love that you take pictures everywhere! i am one of those people too and I get the weird stares or sighs from friends who are always grateful later that I took the time to take the pictures they didn't want to stop for in the moment. That top left pic of you guys is beautiful...looks like such a fun moment captured!
