LET'S GO TO THE MOVIES.

Confession: I love movies.

I love going to movies, I love watching them at home, I love watching them by myself and with friends, and I watch my favorites over and over again. Fall is quickly approaching, which means a new movie season is about to begin! There are a few that I'm really excited to see in theaters and others that I'll probably wait to Redbox. I wanted to share the trailers for some of the movies I'm really looking forward to this year!

1 | The Hunger Games: Mockingjay

2 | Unbroken

3 | The Hobbit: Battle of the Five Armies

4 | Interstellar

5 | Into The Woods

6 | Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

WHAT MOVIES ARE ON YOUR "MUST SEE" LIST THIS FALL?

You do not even understand how many times we have watched the preview for Alexander and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day. For real. We WILL be going to see it.

Ha, I'm like the opposite of you. While I do enjoy going to the movies, I don't enjoy it enough to pay the crazy-high prices. That said, I plan on attending the midnight showing (or local equivalent) of Mockingjay! I saw Hunger Games AND Catching Fire at midnight. I have to keep the streak going! But most of the time I just wait til movies are on DVD.

I'm looking forward to all of those! My husband and I are move junkies too. We just love going to the theater together. We have had to stop going as much when we moved to DC because tickets are so expensive, but we still love it!

I love that you included the trailers! The Hobbit! Hunger Games! Ahhhh! I hadn't even seen trailers for Unbroken and Into the Woods, they look crazy good. The Alexander movie looks like it is going to be so hilarious!

The Hobbit and Mockingjay are definitely on the list--other than that I really haven't been keeping up with movies lately.

The Hobbit and Mockingjay are on my list, but I had NO IDEA they were making Alexander into a movie. What?! Watching the trailer now. Love, love, love that book!

Oh I have no clue when it comes to movies these days...unless it's animated! But thank you for sharing! I love going to the movies, so this was a fun read for me...maybe now I can fake that I really know what's up with movies! :)

I hadn't heard much about Into the Woods yet, but that CAST! Talk about star-studded. Looking forward to it now!

Ah, I am SO out of the loop when it comes to movies! I'm always the last to know what is out. Except The Hobbit, it has been coming out right around our anniversary for the last few years so that's what we have been doing for our anniversary date. :)

Megan McIlvaine said...

Haha!!! It looks so great! I can't wait to see it.

Megan McIlvaine said...

Haha!! Totally understandable. If we go to the regular theater, we try to hit up the super-matinee times so it's only $5. Or we wait for it to go to our cheap theater!! I saw Hunger Games at midnight...it was cray!!

Megan McIlvaine said...

Oh I bet it is more expensive there!! Hope you get to take in a few movies this fall!

Megan McIlvaine said...

I am REALLY excited about the Hobbit and Hunger Games, obvi. But I also can't wait for Unbroken. I think it is such a cool story.

Megan McIlvaine said...

Seriously! I'm excited!

Megan McIlvaine said...

Yessss. Gosh, I can't wait.

Megan McIlvaine said...

Those are my top 2!

Megan McIlvaine said...

Yes!! I'm excited about that one. It looks hilarious!!

Megan McIlvaine said...

Haha!! I love animated movies!

Megan McIlvaine said...

Right? It's like everyone and their mom is in that movie. I'm excited. :)

Megan McIlvaine said...

Oh that's a fun date!!

We are so excited for the Hobbit! My husband and I are huge Tolkien fans. This time, I'm hoping they follow the book a little better than the second movie. What do you think about movies that don't follow the book? Either way, I still excited. It reminds me of when LOTR came out when I was in high school and college :) -Jess @ Sweet Little Ones

the exodus and kings (can't remember the full name right now) LOOKS SO GOOD! and some of these i haven't heard of yet (yay for no cable) so i'll be watching the trailers now ;)

I am such a nerd and always point out the things in movies that are different from the books. I try to go in with the mindset that the movie is going to be different, but when they majorly mess things up, I get upset. Haha!!

Megan McIlvaine said...

YES. OMG how did I forget that one?? I'm excited about that one too!
