We are one week out from Christmas, and I'm sure some of you are still finishing up your Christmas shopping. At this point you are probably needing to find easy and quick gift ideas and stocking stuffers. I've got you covered! I whipped up this sugar scrub a couple of weeks ago and have given it out to several people as part of their Christmas gifts! It is super simple and inexpensive to make. Plus, it's a great exfoliant for the skin!
WHAT YOU NEED:
2 cups of sugar in the raw
3/4 cup of granulated sugar
1/2 cup of olive, almond, or coconut oil
4 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract
Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl. Pick a vessel of your choice (I went with mini-mason jars) and fill it with your yummy smelling sugar scrub! Stuff the stockings, wrap the gifts, spread the cheer, and enjoy!
Meg! I love this! And your labels and the cute little jars and all the things!
LOVE this idea!!! I have some soy candles i'm hoping to make this weekend for some presents!!!
Did you make the labels yourself?
Where did you get the jars?! I've been planning to make something like this!
Great idea girlie!
I've been following your blog for quite some time now, and I just love it. Like really, really love it. I love the simplicity & your authenticity. You share such fun ideas too! After seeing this post the other day, I decided I would make some to add to a few gifts, and it was stupid easy (always a win in my book when it comes to DIY). So thanks for the suggestion! I didn't make any to try myself yet, but I'm thinking that I'll have to use some of the leftover ingredients so that I can try it out :-)
These turned out so wonderfully meg!
This sounds amazing! I think I'm going to have to make some. :)
It smells heavenly :)
Thanks lady!
Kelly, your comment made my day! Thank you! :) Wasn't it the easiest thing to make!? So glad you gave it a shot!
Thanks lady!
Target!! I can't remember how much they were...not too too expensive though :)
Oh that's a great idea!
Yes, I just whipped up the labels in Photoshop! Girl, I love my tea towel!

Thanks friend!! It was rainy and cloudy that day, so I gave it my best shot!
