WEEKEND UPDATE

RECAPS
1 | DIY time. I received a copy of Happy Handmade Home in my Great Christmas Exchange package, and I am so looking forward to pouring over every single page. There are endless creative projects and ideas in there!

2 | Narnia lovers. Have you seen our TriStyle & Co. challenge for this month? We are styling the Narnia inspired tank from Jordandene. Buy an item of your choice from her shop and show us how you style it! You can get 20% off using the code FANGIRL2014.

3 | Rapunzel + glitter. I picked up this beauty of a Christmas ornament while I was at Disneyworld. I just love everything about Rapunzel. Her outlook on life, her pet chameleon, the fact that she wields a frying pan, and that she married Flynn Rider...just to name a few.

3 | Christmas forever. Or not. Our Christmas decorations came down over the weekend, but I'm pretty sure we were the last house in the neighborhood to put away the Christmas lights. I just like to keep them up forever and start referring to them as "winter lights" instead. :)

FAVORITE FINDS
-- No one does a push up like Gaston.
-- What is your word of the year?
-- BuzzFeed is helping us get fit in 2015.
-- How excited would you be if your wedding was featured in Southern Bride magazine??
-- See what happens when little boys were asked to slap a girl.

10 Things To Do In Epcot

Stop by Nina's space this week! She has a fun DIY welcome mat you should try out as well as a delicious biscotti recipe for you to make. And before you go, check out a few of her favorite things. :)

NINA'S FAVORITE THINGS
1. Capri Blue Volcano Candle (this is my Oprah gift, as in, if I had her money and I could scream: you get a car and you get a car, I would scream: you get a candle, you get a candle)
2. Carry on, Warrior by Glennon Doyle (great book and her blog Momastery is a must read and I have no kids!)
3. Instagram (yup.)
4. Harry Potter & J.K. Rowling (love the books so much because I am nerdy like that!)
5. Essential Oils (I just got into them and was pretty skeptical, now I am addicted. Email me!

I love Christmas lights so much! We still have some up around inside our house. They're white so I think they might become a permanent fixture...

Happy Handmade Home! Yay! Omgosh! I just thought about how I can use that book when we have a new place to live! Bah!

Also, Rapunzel for life! And Narnia!

I live in western New York and Christmas lights are more like winter lights around here. Ours are still up as well as most of the neighbors until February/March (I think it's just too cold to go outside and take them down any sooner ha). I love the twinkling lights! And Rupunzel is the best!
