I've been back from Disney World for almost two months, and let me tell you, the Disney withdrawals are REAL. I miss it like whoa. Today I'm back with my final Disney parks installment sharing my favorite rides, restaurants, sites, and shows. During our trip, we spent parts of two different days at Hollywood Studios trying to catch our favorite rides and shows. I'd have to say this park was one of my favorites! I love the history of Walt Disney, the explanations of the animation process, and the classic rides.
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST SHOW
Beauty and the Beast is the only show I've seen on Broadway at this point in my life, and I loved it. The show at Hollywood Studios felt like a smaller and shortened version of it and I was enthralled by every moment and every song. Go see it once...or twice! You'll love it, the kids will love it, and you'll be talking about it for months and years to come.
INDIANA JONES EPIC STUNT SPECTACULAR
I had no idea what to expect going into this show, but it was incredibly awesome. They pull five or so volunteers from the audience to be extras during the film shoot, and let me tell you, hilarity ensues. The stunts truly are spectacular and kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time! By the end of the show, I decided to switch professions and become a stunt double. ;)
FROZEN SING-ALONG CELEBRATION
Oh. Mah. Goodness. At first I felt a little silly about going to the Frozen sing-along, but was secretly overjoyed about it, and thankfully my inner five year old won out. We got seated and I was so giddy as the show started. The best friend and I both cried when the first song started. Do you want to build a snowman? We all know how the song ends and it just brings out all the feels in me. Plus, you are singing along to Frozen songs with a few hundred other people. There are moms and dads and kids and friends like us all singing together. It was SO fun!
ROCK 'N' ROLLER COASTER
A lightning fast roller coaster you'll be talking about long after your Disney trip is over. I personally didn't go on this one since I was still recovering from the worst case of vertigo ever. ;) But my friends went and it looked super fun! I rode California Screamin' in Disneyland and it starts off the same way as Rock 'N' Roller Coaster...it shoots you out like a bullet from the get go. Woohoo!
THE GREAT MOVIE RIDE
This ride surprised me. I enjoyed it a whole lot more than I thought I would! It takes you into some of Hollywood's most famous films throughout the years, and allows you to relive some of that movie making magic!
Man, oh man. If you know me at all, you know how much I love Pixar movies! UP is one of my faves, just FYI. In the Disney Animation area, there was a hallway lined with upcoming Pixar movie posters and I was all heart eyes for days. If you wanted to wait in line, you could meet Baymax! The cutest marshmallow robot man in all the land.
VOYAGE OF THE LITTLE MERMAID
I LOVE the shows Disney puts together, and this one was no exception. It's so fun to re-live the classic Disney movies that I grew up with. I couldn't stop giggling because it legit rains on you twice during this show because you are supposed to be "under the sea." Haha!
THE MAGIC OF DISNEY ANIMATION
Here you can greet animated characters, learn about the animation process, where characters come from and how they are created, and experience what it's like to be a Disney animator! Basically, this space is a dream you don't want to miss!
TOY STORY MIDWAY MANIA
This is one of my absolute favorite rides mostly because it's more of a game than a ride. It takes you through several different phases of the game where you shoot at moving targets and bump into some of your favorite Toy Story characters. The player with the most points wins!
FANTASMIC
A night show. This show combines fantastic lights, lasers, fireworks, dancing water, and all of your favorite Disney heroes and villains. I was mesmerized the entire time. The whole family will love this one!
WALT DISNEY: ONE MAN'S DREAM
This exhibit was a dream. I loved walking around and looking at the rare products, models, and sketches Disney created in the early years. There was also a 15 minute film about Walt Disney, his early beginnings, the struggles he faced, and his dreams for the world of Disney itself. It was so moving and inspiring that I found myself with teary eyes by the end!
HAVE YOU BEEN TO HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS? WHAT ARE YOU FAVORITE RIDES & SHOWS?
CAN'T GET ENOUGH OF DISNEY? CHECK OUT MY OTHER PARK RECAPS!
I love all of the shows there. You picked all of my favorites. Did you go to the Brown Derby? Great restaurant! Also, did you know they took the giant hat down?!
hooray for disney! Hollywood studios has my favorite rides of all time. No Tower of Terror? That one is my favorite! Next time get a PB&J milkshake from the 50's Prime Time Cafe. So good!
One word - AAAHHH!!!

i want you to know, i had many thoughts, and then they all left the minute i saw that pretzel. yup, i have an addiction to all things food.
These are all so great! I will be returning to all of your posts when my husband and I eventually go to Disneyworld!

BAHAHA. I love that. My brain exploded too. I seriously can't wait to go back!! You and Tyler need to come with us next time. FOR REALS.
I know! Man, Disney just leaves me speechless sometimes. ;)
Yeah, I've got the Vertigo. ;) So I stayed away from some of the crazy rides. ;)
Ah! So fun! I wish I could have ridden that one on this trip...but too much dizziness kept me away. ;) Maybe next time.
No to the Brown Derby, but I'll have to check it out next time! Yes! My friend told me to take pictures of it while I was there because they would be taking the hat down!
