One of my favorite parts about the room is my stand up desk. I was going to build one for myself, but realized I was able to change the height of my small architect desk. I scooted it under the existing wall shelves, and it fit perfectly! I'm really in love with how everything turned out! The room feels less cluttered, it's cleaner, it's classier, and has a much more relaxing atmosphere than it did before. Hooray for mini makeovers!

You have a great room!! I feel like every one of your pictures has a story behind it and I love that!!
such a cute space!! where did that fox come from? love it!
those black + white prints turned out BEAUTIFULLY!
and i love that you framed the HP print too (hello, we are twins), and all of your disney books...and the fox, and the succulents! YESSSSSSSSS
Meg!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!
I love all the seating options too :) I wish our bedroom was large enough for a reading chair - I'd probably never leave!
I also love the little Maiedae Mixer accents here and there - so glad to have met you! :)
Looks so so great!! I love the gold pineapple, your framed and matted prints, and how your incorporated a desk area.
Your room looks fantastic and so cozy!
The cool colors are perfect, and that stand up desk, yes please. Especially love the chair you picked out!
It looks so beautiful! I love the pop of the pillows, and I noticed the willow tree angel. I absolutely adore Willow Tree! My mom gets them for me for every big event, and I've been picking out ones I love now, too. :)
CUUUUUTE girl, CUUUUUTE! Love it. Simple and lovely. We have that same Ikea chair (in black though because we're lame-os) and I'm so loving yours in green! It's going to be Baby Main's "rocking chair" once he decides to make his grand entrance ;)
How beautiful! I absolutely love it! I also have the same Willow Tree angel :)
What a lovely space, Meg! It looks so bright and cozy! I love how you didn't use white for the walls, but the color is still so fresh without being overpowering!
The chairs, the prints, the books! .. don't mind me over here making a list of things I need in my house :)
This is so wonderful! Come decorate my apartment now, please!
YAY!
So adorable! I love this redo Meg! Your space looks so inviting :)
I love the pops of yellow! Your room looks so cozy!
Oh, and I spy the little postcard prints I sent you! They look great on your wall!
Cute! Very simple.
Ooh, I loooove it! I've been thinking of painting my room for YEARS (it's still a lovely lavender color from middle school, haha) but haven't done it. I actually have a not-so-little stack of frames to hang, too. Yep, I'm definitely slacking in the room re-decorating department!
But your room is definitely inspiring me to get with the program! I love your desk area--especially the hanging shelves, the artwork, the little gallery wall on the side of your desk, and the fun creative space you've got going. Perfect for blogging! :)
p.s. Did you take those b+w photos by your bed? They're so pretty!
ok but look at how perfect all your art prints are. i'm so in love.

I love all the things and all the photos! And all the details. Also, I didn't spy in puppies in these photos. ;)
Beautiful space! You did a great job. I love all the art on the walls.
Oh my gosh I love everything about this! The colors, the desk decor, and the print from Harry Potter!
Oh, hey! I already commented! Wahoo! ;)
Thank you!
I love my IKEA chair! It is so comfy!
Oh thank you so much!
It's a business card from Gingiber! Isn't that adorable? I couldn't throw it away!
Thank youuuuuuu. I love them so much.
Haha, I do spend a lot of time in there! Yes! I finally found places for some Maiedae Mixer goodies to go. I was thinking about you the other day, Christina, and I hope you're doing well!
Thank you!
Thanks girl! I love it!
Me too me too. I wanted a tall desk chair, but didn't want it to look too "office like" so I went with a bar stool!
That is so fun! I got that Willow Tree angel for my 21st birthday. My family and I went on a beach vacation for my birthday that year. :)
Oh man, that will be a great rocking chair! It bounces really well :)
Thank you!
Thanks Stacia!! It took me forever to pick out a grey but I love how it turned out.
Haha!! I had to keep myself from putting up any more prints...I'm a little obsessed.
Be right there! ;)
yay room. :)
Thanks Amy! It is so much more relaxing than it was before!
Yeah girl, I LOVE them! I had to display them somehow!
Kiki, you should do it! It is AMAZING what a new paint color will do for you and your room. It transforms it into a completely different space! :)
Yes! I knew I wanted to keep my desk area and re-arrange everything so it worked better for my blog time. :)
I did take the black and white photos!..during our blog retreat last fall!
Oh thank you!! :)
Baha. I cut out the picture that showed the puppy furs. ;)
Thank you!
