BEHIND THE SCENES | RED, WHITE & BLUE POPSICLES

I'm over at my BFF Beth's house quite a bit these days, especially on the weekends, so I get to see a lot of the behind the scenes work for Oak + Oats. Beth is a creative machine, and always has new ideas up her sleeve for fun recipes among other things. She's pretty big on ice cream and popsicles these days, so you won't hear me complaining. If someone has to taste test these things, I guess I'll take one for the team and do it. ;)

I told Beth I wanted to get some shots of her actually making these delicious treats, and she said "okay!" So often in blog land we only post the really pretty pictures, the perfectly staged photos (which is completely fine, I get it.) but I think we miss out on the process sometimes, which is just as important! So get ready! All you need for these babies are a few strawberries, blueberries, and some yogurt. Easy peasy, amiright? Here's your little backstage pass into the kitchen of Oak + Oats and a few snapshots of this popsicle-making process.

Have you made any popsicles or other summer treats recently? Head on over to Oak + Oats for the full recipe and for pictures of the finished product. P.S. They turned out beautifully! Oh, and Happy July! XOXO.

I love behind the scenes glimpses! I'm working on a couple currently. Now that we've moved we have a second bedroom which we're making into my office and a guest bedroom for when our friends come visit. I plan to share the process. It's so personal and fun!
