Hello friends! Happy New Year's Eve Eve! Gosh, as I sit here writing this, I'm just so thankful for another year. 2019 was a rollercoaster of a year, but aren't they all? And I'm thankful for you, my dear friends and faithful readers who have helped in bringing life back to my little corner of the internet. Thank you for caring to follow along. It means the world to me.
In true sentimental Megan fashion, I've rounded up some of our favorite posts from this past year!
The Proposal
Thanks for loving my proposal almost as much as I did!😉 It was a long time coming, but well worth the wait. I still ooh and ahh over the photos and our story on a weekly basis.
The House on Willamette
We bought our first house the day after our honeymoon (I know, we're crazy!) and turned part of it into an Airbnb that we have loved running over the last nine months. We've learned a lot in the process and I definitely plan on sharing some Airbnb hosting tips in the near future.
10 Tips for Planning a Wedding on a Budget
We planned our wedding in four months and miraculously stayed on budget. I loved sharing our tips for planning a wedding on a budget! It worked for us and it can totally work for you. You just need to start by figuring out your priorities.😊
Three Ways Singleness Prepared Me for Marriage
I started a series called "Dear Megan" this year and have had the opportunity to answer several questions my readers (that's you!) have sent me. I had never really talked about my single years on the blog, and this gave me the window I didn't know I needed to share about the ups and downs of being single for years as an adult. If you haven't read it, I hope you do, and I hope you're encouraged.
My Favorite Enneagram Resources
Woohoo!! I'm all about the Enneagram and how it helps us get out of the boxes we've put ourselves in. I'm planning on creating more Enneagram content in the New Year and would love to hear what questions you might have about it or what you enjoy about this helpful tool. Leave me some feedback in the comments!
How to Buy a House - A Husband's Perspective
I was a mess when we were house hunting and purchasing a home, so I'm obviously not the most stable person to talk about how to buy a house. Haha!! So I had my husband sit down to answer all of the questions you guys asked on Instagram this year.
You Are Not A Burden
I got a little brave and decided to begin sharing my journey with chronic stress and anxiety with you earlier this year. It was a little scary to put out there because it's such a vulnerable thing, but you all were so incredibly kind and so many of you were able to relate, and I'm grateful for that. I'll be sharing more about this journey as we move into 2020, so stay tuned!
