- the christmas cards are flooding in and i love it
- spending evenings by the fire and watching christmas movies
- phone dates with sweet friends far away
- a night at the ryman for andrew peterson's Behold the Lamb of God tour
- birthday parties for babies. a friend's little boy is turning one this week but we had his party on saturday. it was precious.
- celebrating one of my core group girls as she graduated from college on saturday
- packaging up my #greatchristmas2013 gifts! can't wait for the link-up in january!
- going on a family outing to see the hobbit :) we are nerdy and love middle earth.

we are just about a week away from christmas. how crazy is that? we wait all year for it and then it's gone before we know it. here's to hoping you are ready, not stressing, but able to take time to relax and soak up the season.

HOW WAS THE HOBBIT?! it is on my list of movies I want to see in the next two weeks. seriously I just want to live in the movie theatre there are so many good ones out right now!

When I was reading the line "we are nerdy and love middle earth." Before I got to the end I thought it was going to say "we ARE FROM middle earth." Wish full thinking. :) I can't wait to see it! Was is totally amazing?!
How is it that Christmas is coming up soooo soon? I honestly cannot believe it either. And I also agree with you on soaking up the season. Each year I seem to let it fly through my fingers and the next thing it's over and I'm wishing it was back again. So here's to soaking it all up! :)
Oh, and I am loving your photos. Especially the outdoor Christmas lights one!
