Citrus Pear | Easy Meals for Busy Families

Okay guys, I can't tell you how many times I've come home from work with zero plan for dinner that night. Don't worry, we don't starve. We find something to put together, but on those nights we definitely eat later than we would want. Making healthy meals can be time-consuming, especially if you aren't one to plan ahead. I've come home many times just to eat a bowl of cereal or a bowl of popcorn because I was too tired to make an actual dinner. I can't do that anymore now that I'm married because my husband WOULD NOT just eat popcorn for dinner. He's a growing boy!

Shane had mentioned a few times that he thought we should prepare some freezer meals we could throw in the slow cooker once a week or so. I was all for it, but with everything else going on (AKA life), I never got around to doing a "food prep" day.

Then one fine day Citrus Pear entered my life. My BFF Beth told me about this great company and asked if I would go to a food prep class with her. Y'all, it was so much fun! And you are never going to believe me, but we made 20 affordable and delicious meals in 2 hours!

Let me tell ya how it works. Citrus Pear's mission is to "make healthy eating easy." They do this by hosting classes every month (with a rotating menu) and provide you with all of the ingredients you need to put together a cooler full of easy peasy freezer meals. Citrus Pear walks you through the prep for each meal, which is how you miraculously make so many meals in so little time! Classes currently take place in five different states. We obviously attended the one closest to us in Colorado.😊 You can sign up for a class on their calendar, or you can request a private class for you and your gal pals! How fun would that be??

Shane and I have already used several of these meals I prepped and have loved them! Our all-time favorite so far has been the fire roasted tomato & chipotle chili. Yummmmmmm. Is your mouth watering? I love that I can dump all the frozen contents into our slower cooker (or pressure cooker!) before work, set the timer, and come home to a house smelling like the delicious dinner that is about to feed my family. Needless to say, we are big fans!

Have you ever tried Citrus Pear? Do you have a meal prep plan that you follow consistently? Tell me your ways.
